Işık Accounting and Auditing Program is designed for professionals who are considering making a career in the accounting-auditing profession and/or joining the accounting profession independently or independently, or who are currently practicing this profession and aim to work in high-level institutions, but do not want to disrupt their work. The program aims to provide training to graduates of business administration, economics, finance and econometrics departments, as well as professionals working in the field of accounting and finance who want to specialize in internal auditing, independent auditing and forensic accounting, and gain professional knowledge and experience at an international level. In addition to theoretical knowledge, it provides students with perspectives on solving real problems they will encounter in their professional fields, thanks to current practices and in-class discussions with experienced faculty members in the sector.
The thesis program is a 24-month program. For graduation, students must successfully complete the Master's Thesis with 7 courses (1 compulsory and 6 electives) worth 21 credits, as well as a Seminar course (non-credit). The non-thesis program is a 12-month program and consists of 10 courses (1 compulsory and 9 electives) and a Term Project worth a total of 30 credits. Project work is non-credit and is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful upon completion.
