Işık University's student dormitories, located on the Şile Campus, are increasingly popular among students each year. With blocks offering sea and forest views, these dormitories provide a balance between individual living spaces and community engagement. The facilities comprise of 16 buildings with a total capacity of 1,455 beds, with mostly 3-person rooms, including four 2-person rooms designed for students with special needs.
Dormitory personnel are responsible for monitoring student requests and resolving identified problems on a 24/7 basis and ensuring general control of the dormitories. The common areas of our dormitories and the corridors where the rooms are located are recorded with a camera system for security purposes, and these recordings are only examined by an authorized dormitory officer in a controlled manner and when needed to clarify an incident. Our students staying in the dormitories are obliged to comply with the Dormitory Life Rules, and if any non-compliance is detected, a report is prepared by the dormitory officers, and the issues deemed necessary are put on the agenda of the Dormitory Disciplinary Board and a decision is reached.

Each student is provided with a desk, bookshelf, wardrobe, bed or bunk bed, and a study chair. Additionally, each room includes a refrigerator. For safety reasons, the use of high-power electrical appliances such as heaters, stoves, ovens, air fryers, air conditioners, and halogen lighting is prohibited in student rooms.
Available 24/7 across the dormitories, with an additional DMF building. The library operates on weekdays from 08:30 to 23:30 and weekends from 12:00 to 17:00, providing ample space for research and study.
Equipped with washing machines, dryers, irons, and ironing students to manage their laundry. These facilities operate on an automated system and are available for a fee.
Each dormitory includes kitchens furnished with a sink, dishwasher, and kettle. Students have 24-hour access to these facilities.
All indoor areas are heated via a central heating system, the operating hours are adjusted based on weather conditions.
Rooms and common areas are cleaned regularly by a cleaning company following health and hygiene standards. Rooms are cleaned every other day, with detailed cleaning conducted monthly.

The campus provides both wired (700 Mbit/s) and wireless (400 Mbit/s) internet connections. Access is secured and managed through individual usernames and passwords.
Designated storage areas are available for students to store excess belongings temporarily.
A private security company provides 24/7 security service throughout the campus, and the buildings are also inspected by dormitory staff.
All kinds of maintenance and repair that may be required in the dormitory student rooms and common areas, such as electricity, electronics, installation, construction, carpentry, are carried out free of charge by special technical service teams. However, damages resulting from usage errors and misuse are regulated by deducting from student deposits.
There are smoke detectors in all common areas and student rooms of our dormitories, which are equipped with Electronic Detection and Alarm Systems against fire hazard. In addition, there are fire extinguishers and fire cabinets in our buildings, as well as effective fire escape directions. Smoke detectors are important in terms of fire detection, and their removal or dismantling is strictly prohibited.
There are parking areas on our campus where our students can park their private vehicles. There are also special bicycle parks.
There are also teams on duty 24/7 on our campus for emergencies such as health, security, and fire.
