Işıklı Fikirler competition is part of a comprehensive project titled "Innovation: From Creativity to Entrepreneurship" developed by Işık University Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. The aim of the "Işıklı Fikirler Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition", which was organized for the first time in 2012, was for students to realize the innovative initiatives and business ideas they developed, for FMV Işık Schools graduates to serve as mentors in the projects, and for the practical development of projects with the support and consultancy of angel investors.
A total of 56 applications were submitted to the "Illuminated Ideas" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which was held for the first time in 2012, at Işık University and Işık High Schools, developed in just 2 months. While 29 of the 56 project applications came from Işık University students, 27 projects came from high school students.
As a result of the semi-final eliminations held in the competition, where unique projects were developed for a wide range of sectors such as informatics, health, tourism, energy, public services, food, education and transportation, the top 10 projects out of 56 project applications were determined. These groups that made it to the finals were entitled to participate in the 'mentoring camp' on 26-27 May 2012, where Işık High School and Işık University graduates participated voluntarily and provided consultancy on the projects.

The group named Triple Venom, which came first in the final of the competition held on May 28, 2012, visited the US Silicon Valley, Microsoft office and leading investment companies hosted by Microsoft, had lunch with the Microsoft Software Development Team and GMY in Turkey, and the second group, Car- The group named Işık visited Microsoft in the UK, Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), one of the UK's leading R&D centers, and the R&D departments of companies such as Jaguar and Tata, while InnoGuru and LuckyCare, which shared third place, visited Arçelik, Vestel and Arzum companies. and all the winning groups received special invitations to Windows 8, Windows Azure and Windows Phone trainings.
