In recent years, the use of information technologies in the business world, as in every field, has been constantly expanding. Along with these developments, the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and applications in the world and in our country is increasing day by day. The Management Information Systems (MIS) Program was established to overcome the lack of manpower in this field and to train people who will conduct research in this field.

For this purpose, students are first taught computer technology concepts (programming, web design, database management, etc.) and business management concepts (economics, marketing, accounting, finance, etc.). Then, through courses that integrate the two fields, students are introduced to concepts such as analysis and design, system development, database, information systems management, electronic commerce, decision-making mechanisms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, Internet of Things. The curriculum is designed to be 70% numerical and 30% verbal. Therefore, students who prefer this program are expected to be interested in mathematics, informatics and programming.
