Accreditation Processes

Within the scope of the accreditation processes carried out at Işık University to ensure a purposeful quality culture and quality, four programs in the Faculty of Engineering have been accredited by MÜDEK (Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association), three programs are in the application process and the others are structured to meet the application requirements. The School of Foreign Languages has been accredited by EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services).

Pearson Accreditation: It is an international and independent system for third-party organizations that have training or learning programs designed to be delivered and evaluated internally.

MÜDEK (Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association): It is an independent organization operating to contribute to improving the quality of engineering education in Turkey by carrying out accreditation, evaluation, and information studies for various engineering education programs in our country.

Since MÜDEK has the status of "Washington Accord Signatory", its accreditation is recognized by the accreditation bodies of all countries listed at https://www.mudek.org.tr/tr/hak/IEA-WA.shtm, including ABET, and is equivalent to these. At the same time, since MÜDEK is a member of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education), it has the authority to issue the EUR-ACE Label (https://www.enaee.eu/eur-ace-system) and its accredited programs are available in Europe and abroad. It issues diplomas bearing this internationally recognized label. Graduates of all the programs listed above have the privilege of graduating with diplomas bearing the EUR-ACE label.
