Established by one of the oldest education foundations in Türkiye in 1996, Işık University offers quality education in English and Turkish languages under the roof of 3 Faculties, 1 Graduate School and 1 Vocational School. EAQUALS accredited School of Foreign Languages supports students who are in need of reaching the language level required for the faculty.
With a strong emphasis on academic integrity, research, and innovation, Işık University aims to cultivate forward-thinking individuals who are equipped with the skills to excel in both the national and global arenas. The university fosters a dynamic learning environment where students can pursue their intellectual passions while gaining practical knowledge and experience, supported by a faculty of distinguished academics and professionals.

Işık University was established in 1996 by one of the oldest education institutions in Türkiye, Feyziye Schools Foundation, which was initially named as Feyz-i Sıbyan School in 1885 and later adopted the name of Işık with the approval of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Founded in 1996, Işık University today offers educational opportunities with 23 undergraduate programs across 3 Faculties, 9 associate degree programs within 1 Vocational School, and 43 master's (both thesis and non-thesis) and 6 doctoral programs in Turkish and English through its Graduate School. Additionally, the School of Foreign Languages provides students with further educational support.
